Flu Season Is Just Around The Corner
We anticipate 2026-2027 flu vaccine will be available starting in mid-to-late September. The CDC recommends routine annual influenza vaccination for everyone 6 months of age and older who does not have a medical reason that prevents vaccination. This includes pregnant women and people with certain medical conditions.
Influenza vaccines are given at your local health department office from 8:30am until 4:30pm, Monday through Friday, please contact your local health department office for an appointment.
For current vaccine pricing, please call your local office. Most major insurance plans are accepted, but we recommend calling to confirm coverage.
If you have a large group, such as a business, agency, church, or other organization, that would like to receive flu vaccines, please contact your local health department. Arrangements may be made for a nurse to provide vaccinations at your location.
